Chairperson of the Committee on European Integration Iryna Herashchenko jointly with her deputy chairpersons Ostap Semerak and Mariia Ionova met with parliamentary delegation of British group of the Inter-Parliamentary Union. They informed their British colleagues - John Whittingdale and Lord Davies of Stamford - about the developments in Donbas and violation of Minsk agreements on the part of pro-Russian militants and the Russian Federation supporting them.
They told about the reforms Ukraine carries out in the context of implementation of the Association Agreement, and addressed British politicians asking the British Parliament to consider the issue of ratification of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement as soon as possible.
The Parties raised the issue of pooling efforts to combat Russian propaganda. They discussed preparation for Riga Eastern Partnership Summit.
